Welcome to Norwalk JR Football & Cheer's home on the web!

Norwalk Jr. Football & Cheer is a proud member of AYF and home of Norwalk Packers Football.

Norwalk Jr. Football (formerly Norwalk Youth Football ) is the original ongoing youth football league in town that has been affiliated with the Norwalk Athletic Association (NAA) since 1958.

Our program is grade based and age protected, providing the young athlete the opportunity to learn the basic fundamentals in a safe and structured environment and apply this knowledge and technique to the game of football, the way it is played at the high school level. Players learn to play the positions they are physically capable of playing, and the positions they will likely play as they matriculate into high school. No other local area organization offers this type of program. Real football. Real football positions. Real football rules. Every single young athlete in grades 2-8 that fall within our age restriction is welcome and eligible to play.

We are a member of American Youth Football and Cheer and play within the Colonial Youth Football and Cheer League.

Football & Cheer Fittings Dates Announced!

ATTENTION 2013 CHEER & FOOTBALL PARTICIPANTS!!

Equipment & Uniform fittings will be held on the following weekends:

JULY 20 & 21 AND AUGUST 3 & 4
Brien McMahon High School
9am - 12pm

Additional, non-league issued equipment will be the responsibility of the participant (i.e., cleats, gloves, protective cup, cheer sneakers, accessories, etc.)

All Forms must be received by JULY 1, 2013 AND prior to registrant receiving equipment or participating in practice:

AYF Registration Forms (Participant Tracking 2page, Waiver Release, Emergency Medical, Image Release)
AYF Medical Clearance Form (AYF Form only no other forms accepted)
Report Card (showing full year’s grades)
Birth Certificate (first year players only)

At Brien McMahon High School

Cost: $100
Open to all players entering 6-9th grade

Camp will be run by both the Norwalk High and Brien McMahon Football Coaching Staff!

Groups of 7 on 7!
High school practice plans!
Introduction to high school plays!

This camp is non-contact.
Participants should wear shorts and cleats.
Please remember to bring plenty of water.
